Trusting and Remaining

Hello, my name is Hallie and welcome to my blog. I am wanting to start sharing what I am learning throughout my life. I think it is so important to take what you learn and apply and share with friends. Let’s jump into what I have learned the past 3 months about change, new seasons, and trusting God.

Around three months ago I started a new job. This job was something I prayed about and had peace about this new season I was starting. With a new job, change was inevitable. Change isn’t always comfortable. For me, I was very excited but it didn’t really hit me until I turned my 2 weeks in at my job.

My last 2 weeks at my job was full of emotions. I was so excited for the next chapter but sad because I was leaving a place I spent the past 2 years of my life at. I have memories that will last a lifetime. If I said these weeks were so easy and nothing came against me I would be lying. I remember myself crying in bed because I let emotions and fear take over. I didn’t want to go through a new season without guidance. I talked with my dad about what I was feeling and realized I was talking and focusing on what I was fearing rather than speaking what God had to say about the situation. So when I felt the fear rising up I would pray and shift my focus to what God’s word says about my future.

Jeremiah 29:11 NLT For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 32:8 NLT The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.

Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT  Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

The first 2 weeks of getting in my new position had its challenges because it was all new. New job task, new scenery, new people, new everything. I questioned my decision almost every day. I felt overwhelmed and out of place. I am so thankful for my family because they would encourage me and remind me that I prayed about this change. All I knew to do was pray and seek God every single day. I started to seek him in a deeper way. He was my source in every area. My strength, my joy, my patience, my passion, my understanding, my everything. He has never left me and always provides. So thankful for the people He has placed in my life to encourage and support me.

The 10th of November marks 3 months working at my job. It seems like I’ve been their way longer but not long at all. (I know that doesn’t make sense lol) I have learned to trust God. My faith has grown because I had to put that to action and God showed that He is faithful. I am learning that what you focus on will be magnified and having the right perspective is key. Your focus is very important. Instead of focusing on things of this world, focus on what God says and the authority He gives us. It is so important to know God’s word because when things of this world try to come up against you, you can go to the word and confidently know that YOU are going to win.

God has a plan for you. He has the BEST for you. He is your source and he supplies all our needs. He loves you and desires a relationship with YOU. I encourage you to trust God and remain trusting Him. Have faith and take Him at his word. ALL His promises are YES and AMEN.

I am so excited to start this journey and hope it encourages someone. I want this to be a place where you can see you are not alone and God loves you some much. Until next time.
Love,
Hallie Price

CONFIDENCE

Hiiiii!! It has been quite some time since I blogged last, but I think it is time to get started. I think it’s so important to journal and express your emotions. I don’t think you should live based on emotions but writing my emotions has helped me with processing things. I have looked back at what I’ve written in the past and I see how much I’ve grown in the Lord and the different lessons I’ve learned from.
It is so cool.
I want to talk about my process of being confident. Confidence is something I have to work on daily. It is something that I have always wanted to have yet it took me a while to truly understand where confidence is built. It’s not built on social media, relationship status, looks, etc.
It is built through Christ.
What God says about you and His love for you.
Where can you find what He says about you? How much does he love you?
It is in His Word!!!!! His word is alive and true.
I am working on building my confidence in Christ. I want to share some Bible verses that help me with building my confidence in who I am through Christ and His love for me. I encourage you to look each verse up and also find more verses about what you are wanting. If you don’t understand God’s love for you then how do you expect you to love yourself or others and how will you accept love? Cause God’s love is always available but it’s up to you to receive His love.

Matthew 28:18-20  Hebrews 11:1-2  Acts 17:24-31  2 Thessalonians 3:5  2 Timothy 3:16-17  Philippians 1:6  2 Thessalonians 3:16-17  1 John 5:14  1 John 4:7  Psalm 40:1-2  James 1:12  Proverbs 16:9  Psalm 90:12  Psalm 121:2  Ezekiel 36:26  1 John 4:8  Hebrews 13:5
Romans 8:1-2  1 Corinthians 12:7-11  1 Corinthians 12:4-6  Isaiah 55:8-9  Psalms 37:4
1 Peter 4:10  Philippians 4:6-7  John 17:15  John 17:17-19  Psalm 31:1-4  2 Peter 1:8
2 Chronicles 32:8  Ephesians 3:12  Hebrews 4:16  Isaiah 32:17  Jeremiah 17:7  Nehemiah 6:16
Philippians 4:13  Proverbs 3:32  Psalm 20:7

I hope that if you desire confidence you turn to the source where confidence is formed. Find scriptures that connect to his promises and stand on the word. SAY out loud the promises. Ask and believe. Become a student of life. Never stop growing and evolving. GIve grace and also receive grace. Be authentic. Be who God made you to be. He loves YOU unconditionally.
You are SO LOVED.
I pray that this is a blessing to whoever reads this. You rest in peace and confidence knowing who you are in Christ and how much you are LOVED. I encourage you to become who God created you to be. The world needs you to be YOU.
LOVE YOU!!!!! Remember THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!! AAAHHHH VERY EXCITING!!!!
